Newest Update

Here’s a quick update:

I have been doing well at home. I have in-home occupational therapy and in-home physical therapy that has been really good for me to have them come to my home. I’m still not able to drive. My left leg continues to be my nemesis Yet I’m getting feeling back in my foot it’s just not really willing to walk well for me and wants to roll outwards  And the foot is still not quite woken up yet and there’s no strength in that foot and or ankle. I’m still on 2 L of oxygen 24/7 we are working on some rehab for my lungs as well hopefully we can get that reduced or just be off.
I want to thank you for the ongoing prayers. Jerry and I would not have made this home transition without them. It’s very hard for a nurse to be a patient let me tell you that first of all and it’s very hard for someone who is very independent. We had some growing pains it feel we are doing much better at this time. As I’m getting my independence back slowly my husband has been amazing and supporting of me and helping me along this journey.
I also had a minor setback the end of June when I fell backwards and landed on both my arms. I did enjoy my right shoulder some as well as my left wrist so that took a few weeks off my rehab. But as they say three steps backwards and two forward. I continue to make those forward and I continue to thank God for all of you who been here for us along this journey I will keep you posted along the way
