We’re sorry it’s been so long since we’ve sent out an update to you. The past few months have been rocky and lots of changes were being made often.
Late June, Mom got really sick and had to spend some time in ICU. She recovered quicker than we thought, and was able to come home after a couple of weeks.
Her pain got out of control again, so she spent another 23 days in the hospital. During that admission, our family and Mom’s teams of doctors have decided it is best for her to come home with Hospice being a resource available to us in order to help Mom as much as possible.
We have had lots of texts, calls, social media messages, etc. We are thankful for each one of them. Instead of sending out several updates, we decided it was best to update Caring Bridge.
