Sorry for the confusion. I must admit that it appears there has been some confusion between my cancer operation last year and the May 9, 2022 operation.
Let me attempt to clarify things: About 12 days or so after the May 9 (very successful) operation, we flew back to New Orleans.
The operation was 7 1/2 hours long. So my recuperation has been fairly long. It was approximately five weeks before the pain subsided. But even then I was told to “rest.“ So that’s essentially what I’ve been doing since the operation.
However, Ana and I went out to eat tonight. And, we plan to go see the new “Top Gun: Maverick” movie sometime next week.
