From Wendee:

Update on Miki:
So grateful for where she is now. It’s been 2 months since her accident.
She has been cleared from OT, PT, speech, And ENT.
She passed her driving exam today and is running on treadmills without headaches.
She has been weaned from BP meds, pain meds and only remains on one medication to help with her optic nerve swelling, but even that is improving. She probably won’t ever have her taste or smell back which is a big bummer, but in Miki’s words,” if that’s all that I lost, I’m okay with it”.
We are sooo proud of her strength and patience.
Her world was turned upside down and she handled all with Grace and positivity.
We are so grateful for the care we received at HCMC and the support from all of you reading this. I honestly cannot believe she is doing so well. She is one lucky, tough girl. We cannot thank you enough for your prayers. They were felt.
So, Happy New Year to all of you. We have a lot of hope for 2021
P.S.
