Happy New Year!  We are 17 days in and have some good news about Mike. He had a PET scan a few days back and the doctor said it all looks great. There was the possibility of some chemo but the doctor didn't feel that was necessary. In about 6 months Mike will have another scan. Mike is feeling good and able to eat whatever he wants. He just has to keep a close eye on his sugars - which he will do with an insulin pump.
