It is so good to hear that Michael is still doing so well. Mike and Marey, you will always be in our thoughts.

Very glad to see a picture of Mike! Thank you for catching us up. We are happy with you for the good outcome and grateful for the providential care that made that possible.
We hope there’s a cookout together in our future.

Mary, Thank you for your honesty and transparency through all of this journey with Mike. Both of you have been through so much this year and your strength gave me a boost for my own challenges. My partner, Tom, had a second ablation today at Fairfax Inova heart and vascular unit by Dr. Rashid. As I read you post, I am sitting in recovery with Tom so the timing was a little ironic. Tom and I take good care of ourselves AND there are still things we can do to take better care of our hearts. The reminder is important and donating to the American heart association or some heart organization is helpful too. Your question about women being a minority for heart transplants makes me wonder too. Thanks for adding to my thoughts today and to focus on heart health. Love to you both - Joan
