Kay, I'm so sorry to hear about Mike. He was always a joy to be with and an inspiration of unwavering faith to Jim in the midst of his own difficulty. You, my friend, are a beautiful witness to faithfulness as we have seen you embrace this long journey God has had you on. Thank you for being a beautiful example of total reliance on the strength of Christ. Praying for you and your family, always. I love you, Kay

What a great testimony of God’s love and grace! Denise and I are sad, yet happy for the reward of Mike’s battle… he’s praising Jesus face to face, totally healed!! We pray (and know) that God s comfort and peace along with special memories will ease the temporary sting of separation until we get to join him with our Savior.

Don and I are praying for you and your family. Doc was a very dear man of God. We sure enjoyed getting to know you both at East Emmanuel. His smile will be missed. With much love. Meredith and Don

Mike was a great friend and colleague. He will be missed by many besides his loving and supportive family. It says a lot about his character that he helped others deal with issues that he boldly faced.

Kay and Family - what an incredible man of God Mike was!! His tireless faith and commitment to God, His Promises and making sure that all around him knew exactly where his strength and healing came from was enviable! It was always such a pleasure to sit with Mike and hear his heart at any given time. Please accept our sincere condolences and know that we are here for whatever you may need now or in the coming days, weeks or months ahead. Blessings in Him ✝️

Mike has been such a blessing to us through his cancer journey - a man of Christ, showing us what giving it all up to God looks like, showing us what peace in the middle of the storm looks like, accepting the diagnosis and pain without complaint and showing love to us all through the years. Such a warrior - a warrior for God. Kay - unbelievable - your dedication to Mike and walking each step of his health journey showed us what love really looks like - what at team you two were. Truly made one in God. Love you Kay and as we say farewell in the navy - “Fair winds and following seas to you Mike”
