On Wednesday, February 19th, we met with Mike's bone marrow transplant doctor to discuss his prognosis and future plans. After much prayer, we all decided that prolonging treatment would be unproductive as his doctors shared that the graph vs host disease has taken over his body. 

On Thursday, February 20th, we brought Mike home to begin hospice care. The whole family and some close friends are here in Phoenix spending whatever remaining time God gives us together. We have been overwhelmed by all the love, prayers and support of so many people. The entire ACU (Arizona Christian Univ.) baseball team and many other visitors have come by the house to see Mike and share how much he has impacted their lives. These have been precious moments of seeing and experiencing a small taste of Mike's legacy. 

Please continue to pray for our family and for Mike as we walk through these last days. We are trusting the Lord deeply in this season of sorrow. Thank you!
