All is going well in the most important aspects of recovery. You are adjusting to and embracing your new life, the greatest blessing of all. It came with no guarantees, but with a measure of hope which was rapidly dwindling without the transplant. So keep focusing now on what is going well… and put your energies into gratitude for what you DO have. Over time, gratitude and optimism are what will heal whatever still needs healing, especially from the emotional trauma you have experienced which is no small thing. Try not to give or waste any energy on issues which can’t be changed which will drain and derail you from enjoying your incredible gift of life. You have been given another chance. Life may be different than the one you had or hoped for, but maybe God has “saved the best [of your lives] for last.” Look for it! Accept it with all its imperfections and give thanks! As you always say, Let’s go! ❤️
