Dad is home from the hospital! His diagnosis remains very much the same from when he entered the hospital, but his coughing is down, his energy is up and his appetite is back. They are classifying his symptoms under long haul COVID and unfortunately, not much is yet known about how this will continue to effect him as a transplant patient. We’ve been told to expect weeks, maybe months of continued symptoms. We do know the COVID causes lung damage, but won’t know for some time if any of it is permanent or will eventually fade as COVID leaves his body. 

He thanks you for all your concern and prayers and we hope to have some uneventful weeks ahead.
