We are heartbroken and there is a piece of our heart missing tonight. Earth lost one of the absolute best today, but Heaven gained the most special angel. God called dad home around 3:45 pm. Dad went peacefully surrounded by all of his family which is exactly what he wanted. He fought so bravely for so long and endured so much pain in the last months of his life. We are grateful that he is no longer suffering or in pain. He is finally comfortable and at peace which we have been praying for for so long. He was not afraid of death, in fact he welcomed his homecoming with God. I hope to live the rest of my life with this attitude. He inspired and touched so many lives and I have no doubt the turnout to his services will reflect this. My dad was my family’s everything and we already miss him tremendously, but we will patiently await our reunion with him. Until then, we will live our lives full of adventure, love, laughs, and good memories just as dad wanted us to. ❤️
