Please know that there are still so many prayers being sent on behalf of all of you. Prayers for peace and comfort as you mourn for such a wonderful man. And thank you all for sharing this with us. We know how deeply painful it's been, but the message of the strength found through faith in God has touched all of our lives in a profound way. Hugs, Scott and Laura

Such a loss. Such a great man. Such a chasm created. While I knew Mike for a long time, it was through cycling we connected more. I speak for so many of us on the impact he made in such a short time on two wheels. But then again I think that is Mike's legacy. He was an impact maker. He'll be with me/us on rides. I'll remember his smile and kindness.

Jill, Jada, Alex and Vanessa, it is so hard to comprehend how a life as wonderful as Mike’s was taken way too early. All of Mike’s post were very impactful. He knew how to live life to the fullest even dealing with cancer. Mike’s attitude and faith was amazing. This may be his last post but he will be forever in our memories. Love you! Debbie and Jim

While it is very sad reading the post without Mike amongst us in human life it is with rejoice that Mike has found and living the truth of eternal life, with our Lord Jesus Christ . I truly believe Mike's fight and belief has helped others find the truth. While I have not personally met any of Mike's family, I can certainly witness the family love that was and is there. My prayers for strength and courage on the days going forward.

Dear Jill, Alex, Jada and family, Such a beautifully written post and obituary. Thanks for sharing this most intimate struggle over the past year. You have included us as your human family and it has blessed us all in ways we can’t measure. We have witnessed your shock, hope, joys, sorrows, and picked up a little medical knowledge along the way. Mike’s example and vulnerability in this journey brought us closer and increased our love for you and for one another. May that love help you find strength and peace in the days ahead.

Mike was definitely a blessing to all he encountered! However the encounter be lengthy or briefly! A bill was being voted on in the Wisconsin Senate recently. I notified my state representatives to vote yes for the bill. Because in the bill there was an addendum to support 20 million dollars for pancreatic cancer research. The bill passed! Mike did not die in vain. His inspiring words of Faith and Hope will be cherished memories within each one of us! God Bless you in this time of sorrow. 💖
