I figured this would be the best way to keep everyone updated on Mike. As most of you know Mike is battling Stage 3C Lung Cancer that has also spread to a few lymph nodes. Mike has a great team of physicians out of KU Medical center here in Kansas City. He does see them at the North Kansas City location though as it is easier for us. Mike received his first chemo treatment last Thursday and he has done relatively well with it. He has been slightly nauseous but more than that he is extremely tired feeling zapped. He has chemo every 21 days and is on the strongest dose they have. I will continue to update this blog whenever we have any new news. Prayers are certainly needed as we fight this nasty disease.
