Hi Everyone - 
We got great news yesterday that Mike's latest scan is clear and there is no cancer to be found 😊 From here, he has an appointment with his oncologist on May 25th to discuss the scan more in-depth, as well as his latest blood draw (expecting good news, based on the results of the scan), then he will have another CT scan in 4 months, and will continue the scans and bloodwork for a while every 4-6 months, to make sure they continue to stay clear. Mike is still feeling nauseous and fatigued, but hopefully that will subside soon as well, now that the chemo is done. 

Cindy and Mike both recently also had COVID which had us all pretty worried; thankfully Mike didn't get it too bad. Cindy had it pretty severely for a few days but after some rest it cleared up for her and we were able to celebrate Mother's Day together which was really nice. Ellie being the Superwoman that she is somehow managed not to get COVID from Cindy and Mike and was able to go to her senior Prom last weekend! We're really happy she didn't have to miss that and she was lucky to get a really beautiful day & evening for it. 

We're all looking forward to the summer and spending time together again; we have Ellie's High School graduation coming up here in a couple weeks already - where does the time go? 🥺
