Mikaylah’s Story

Site created on December 5, 2020

November 11th after having headaches for about a week. Mikaylah was given an MRI and rushed into surgery to release the pressure in her head. Doctors found and diagnosed her with Grade 4 Glioblastoma.

We are continuing to pray, and take one day at a time focusing on little victories. While GBM is aggressive we are tackling it head on without fear one day at a time.

Mikaylah just had another clear MRI showing that there is no new growth. You could tell how happy the Dr was telling us the news, and the Dr even told us everybody that looked at the MRI was pleasantly surprised by the cancer not coming back yet with how aggressive her GBM is.

She is supposed to stay on the double chemo (IV/pills) she is currently taking until she can’t tolerate them anymore.

We want to thank everybody for all of your thoughts and prayers as we get closer to the2 year anniversary of her diagnosis. It means the world to us that so many people take time out of their day to add her to their prayers.
