What a special woman Midge was to so many people! She will be greatly missed. My sympathy goes to you, Jeff, Greg, and your families and relatives. A bright light has gone to a better place. May you all find love and support at this time.
Cindy and I send our love and heartfelt blessings to your family at this very sad time. It was just over a year ago that Cindy's father passed after a long illness, and while time helps to heal the harshest aspects of loss, we know that your year will be filled with many "anniversaries" starting with Mother's Day this weekend. Midge was such a powerfully positive force at EPHS, a master of scheduling but also a wonder when it came to making students know they mattered. Her warmth and caring showed through from her window looking out into the Commons, and I know many students who just loved to drop by her window just to check in with her and see if she had any new frogs on display. As a teacher with a sometimes problematic schedule, I know she always had my back when it came to room scheduling for classes like acting or creative writing. The world is a duller place without Midge.
With Love and Warm Memories, Rolf Olson
My heart goes out to you and your family with the loss of your wonderful mother! She was such a joy to work with-always positive, cheerful, hardworking, enthusiastic, bright and so competent! She loved her family and the people at Eden Prairie Senior High. She will be missed!
My deepest sympathies to all of Midge’s family and friends. I enjoyed working with her for more than ten years at the PROP Shop. She first volunteered in January 2009, and we were deeply saddened when her diagnosis and treatment meant she had to stop in March 2019. She volunteered more than 900 hours in those ten years and made my day every time I saw her. Sending love and support. Vicki Bomben
So sorry to hear....It was a blessing to volunteer with at The Prop Shop! That smile, that laugh and those quick one liners are forever saved in the Wednesday morning crews' heart! God Bless you all- she talked about her "kids" all the time and how proud she was of ALL of you!
We are so sorry to hear of Midge’s passing. She was a remarkable woman with a big heart. Her love for the kids she worked with at EPHS and her heart to serve at the PROP Shop will leave an indelible imprint on our hearts. We send our deepest sympathies to you & Greg and your families. May you find comfort and peace in the memories of love & laughter shared with your amazing Mom. Heartfelt blessings to you all.
