A lot has been going on since the last update on my mothers cancer journey. We’d like to thank you for your support, encouragement and thoughtfulness. It truly does mean a lot to know so many family and friends have my mother and our family in their prayers. We feel it and appreciate you all so very much.
On April 9 my mother completed her third and final round of chemotherapy! We are all so happy to have that behind us and move on to the next phase of treatment.
My mother is now beginning her third week of radiation, and has three and a half weeks remaining. The radiation therapy takes place daily, and is actually a quick 20 minute process. It takes longer to drive to the appointment than the therapy actually takes place. That’s good news. The daily routine does take a toll, but she is almost half way through which is very positive.
Again we’d like to thank you all for your support and thoughtfulness. For those of you who have had family or friends go through a similar journey, you know how much having your support and friendship means. ❤️
