Mickey’s Story

Mickey suffered a cardiac arrest on Thursday, October 29. He is currently in the intensive care unit at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan. This website is maintained by Mickey's son, Burton Koss. Updates will be posted on a regular basis.

Mickey is in critical condition. A full recovery is not likely. Mickey's journey on earth may be coming to an end. If he makes it through this, he will need extensive rehabilitation, and he may never return to his previous level of independence.

We are grateful for the outpouring of love, grief, and support that has been flowing through e-mail from all of Mickey's family and friends.

Funeral arrangements are pending.
