Journal entry by Michelle Wilson —
On June 20th, 2019 I was diagnosed with AML, which is a type of leukemia. I have 3 gene mutations which made it impossible for me to have a transplant. I have gone through 5 rounds of chemo, and am currently waiting for my counts to come back up so I can do round 6.
I will be doing chemo until it stops working. My family had a meeting with my oncologist who said most likely I have months to live.
