Michelle’s Story

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement.

Michelle suffered a medical emergency at home around 4:45am in the morning Wednesday September 5th. Orange County Fire Authority paramedics responded and rushed her to Mission Viejo Hospital where it was determined that she suffered from an aneurysm and cerebral bleed. She underwent three emergency surgeries.

Michelle is being monitored in the ICU surrounded by her family. She is being treated by the best team of Neurosurgeons and Nurses.

We hope to keep everyone updated when can. We have a long road ahead of us and will continue to need all the help and support we can get.
We have amazing family and friends as well as an amazing outpouring of support from Eric's Laguna Beach Fire family to make sure that he is able to take the time off of work that he needs to spend the majority of his time with Michelle in the hospital.

A GoFundMe page has also been started by Julie Diaz to make sure the girls can continue to go to Dance. Michelle loved taking the girls to dance and would have wanted them to continue going.

Michelle's Home !!!

Yesterday Michelle came home yesterday and is doing great. She is extremely excited to be at home with her family. Michelle still needs a lot of assistance and on Monday we start our outpatient physical therapy with Mission Hospital therapists. I want to make sure that you all know how much my family appreciates all the love and care we have received from all of you. We continue to look towards the future of Michelle getting better and better every day.
