Journal entry by Michelle Lucatorto —
Hi all and happy Monday
I actually had to call and follow up with a patient today - who recognized my voice - it is so uber cool to be in that space ... while I always loved in intensity of the hospital I really found my home in primary care - the long term connection - so this tiny little taste of it was joyful.
I remember when I was getting assigned there was a chance I would go to NYC and then NOLA was decided - my boss thought that I might fit better in NOLA- I fit just fine in NOLA
I was also reminded today when talking with patients that those leaving the hospital and coming home are often still ill and at the same time are grieving...so many patients have lost multiple family members and friends
Stay home - call each other text photos - stay safe
Love Michelle
