Joyce, my heart breaks for you today, what a fine man and wonderful soul Mike showed us all. I hope he gathers up all the Tanzanite that can be had for our journey to meet with him and we will laugh until we cry with him. It is so fitting that Hurricane of his name came through Mexico Beach to pick his soul up for a glorious cruise. Love to you my friend.

Mike is still in the hospital . He was admitted 8/27 and it is now 9/28. He is still very weak from the backlash of the immunotherapy. He nearly died, but has pulled through . All his vital organs had been compromised. The doctors were conferring daily because it was so complicated . At one point he had 8 specialty doctors. Right now his issue is his muscles have been severely affected. The muscles for breathing as well so he is on a ventilator. They are hoping to slowly wean him. He is unable to talk, to write, sit, or much of anything. He is awake and very aware. It is frustrating for him to not be able to communicate. I am sure he misses his phone and email. He would love to be able to update his caringbridge. It will be great progress when he is able to do so. Please continue to pray that his muscles recover,

Mike wants to post, but is in ICU. He has been In the hospital for 2 weeks. He has had a reaction to his immunotherapy that is quite rare. He is unable to talk or do anything. His muscles have been affected including ones for breathing and speaking. His numbers are slowly improving, but his abilities are not. Please pray for him. Thanks.

Finally found this site! So sad to hear of your struggles with the Catholic doctrines of your childhood. As I think you know He loves us unconditionally. Onward and upward day by day! Much love
