Hi Mike (and Liz, Becky and Jim) -
I was just taking with Liz via Facebook and she reminded me of my longtime plan to launch a TV show that follows me as I drive a truck across the country and stop only at truck stops. It's still a goal! I think my plan is to call it Grinding Gears and I will have to get all of my meals and social interaction at truck stops. I will have to be in tip-top shape before it starts because I'm sure my health will suffer as a result of this plan! I should also learn how to drive one of those big rigs! There are days in my current job where I'm ready to get started right now! I know that a life on the road would be tough - but what a way to see so much of the country and interact with some interesting characters.
I've been thinking of all of you since learning of your diagnosis. I know from personal experience what great source of support and care Liz can be, and know from the brief time I've been able to spend with Becky that she's quite the nurturer as well - so I know you are in loving hands. I'm sending you support and prayers from Colorado.
