A quick update: Dad wanted to express his gratitude for everyone's thoughts and prayers. They have made such a difference for his recovery! He  has wrapped up his rehab at CC Young and has now moved to St. Joseph's Residence.  He will be staying there while continuing his physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy. The speech therapist is making sure his throat and swallowing completely heal without any issues. He has continued to gain more and more strength and we are so thankful and trusting the Lord through this journey. St. Joseph's is a neat little place owned by the catholic diocese. They offer a mass everyday, three square meals, and medication aides to help monitor dad's blood sugar while he gets back on his feet.  Visitors welcome during the day or evenings before 7pm is best.
