Hello all, I'm sorry for the long lapse in updates - it was much easier to write them when there was hopeful news to share. But Michael took a turn downward in the past few months and transitioned to hospice just 3 days ago. He fought hard to the end, but sadly lost his battle today. He was surrounded by family in the comfort of our home, and thankfully passed quickly without a prolonged ordeal. Thank you to all our family and friends for their enduring love and support. Mike was a loving, generous, and supportive husband in addition to loyal friend, brother, son, uncle, and all-around sweet man who brightened so many lives and will not be forgotten.
