Mike was a genuine, kind man who loved the Lord, serving others and his family. Madelyn has such fond memories of “Mr.Mike” teaching her and the other kids in the Children’s ministry at LifePoint Church. He made some amazing balloon animals! 😊 My prayers and thoughts are with you Karen , Emily and the rest of your family. I think of you often. I would love to bring a meal to you when it’s convenient. You can text or call me at 2817737564 Praying for God’s peace to wash over all of you

Karen - praying for you and the kids. I’m sorry to have missed Mike’s ceremony but I needed to take care of Mason so Christopher and Suzie could go since they had worked with Mike in the Children’s dept for so long.
I’m happy Mike was honored at his internment- he served this country with honor and distinction.

I met Mike in 2015. He was always there to lend a hand or an ear. Always encouraging. Always patient. Always kind. I rejoiced with him when he was nearing retirement and enjoyed seeing pictures of his traveling adventures with his family.
He was our American Heritage Girls troop shepherd. He was a joy to watch when he taught the children and had their attention when he pulled out balloons and shared an object lesson. I often went to him with prayer requests and he prayed right there for me. He lived his faith showing Christlikeness to everyone.
Often I pass his workplace on Bay Area. I think of him and his legacy to his family, friends, and co-workers. He was a faithful servant of our Lord and will be missed.

So sorry to get this news! I worked with Mike and didn't need to be around him long to know what kind of person he was. Just an easy-going guy and a great professional. It's not surprising to hear what a devoted family man he was.
