I've only had a couple of real conversations with you, ever, and I feel so lucky to read the story you're writing and living now. So I'm related to you as a reader. More than that, though, I feel related to you from having seen your children grow up ... having known and cared about Grace since she was a tiny one in ECFE, a preschooler eating oatmeal at Trillium Circle, one of Ingrid's first friends at Seward ... having enjoyed some long drives and sweet conversations with Isaiah when we carpooled to camp, and seen him grow up since then ... there's a way we are connected from so much time and change, even from a distance.
