Rich update, Michael, reflecting a rich family and community life, as well as an empowered relationship to your medical care. Thank you for the ever-present teaching and role-modeling for what so many of us will face--regarding our own health and the health of loved ones--as time marches on. Always holding you and the family in love!

Michael, another powerful post. You've been at many inflection points and have faced each one with thoughtfulness. This seems a major intersection, with new hopeful trajectories. "The more experiences I have of health, the more I believe that all healing comes from grace, and always grows out of relationships." The more experiences of health and grace, the more your cellular memory will orient to that.
Blessings, dear Michael and Jenny

Hi Michael - I am reading your latest posts in a new way. Recently I have had a couple of conversations about our session on Patterns with Death last summer, where I spoke as a spouse, caregiver, best friend to one who went through similar explorations as you are doing. It was a very different voice from what you share here, as I had a very different perspective as a partner in all the swirl. Hearing your perspective in trying to make choices in the midst of "disagreeing uncertainty" among those you have gathered for guidance gives me a new metaphor. Drawing on the Ram Dass quote "After all, we’re just walking each other home” I am now thinking of a choir of voices in this journey. You/we are choosing the voices to move into the foreground in any given moment. May we all find sweet harmony in our journeys, and sing as we walk each other home. Singing songs of love and peace to you and yours.

Dear Michael and Jenny, wow, what a challenging and amazing and profound discernment processes you've been going through. I am deeply touched and transformed by your discernment. I join you in support of your newly gained clarity and resolve. Any medical decisions we make are risky and with uncertain outcomes but grace that underlies all healing is not risky and not uncertain. I am chewing on your words, "all healing comes from grace, and always grows out of relationships."

I found a tiger moth caterpillar this morning. They say, the tiger moth as the monarch caterpillars, feed on milkweed that produces extremely toxic chemical -cardiac glycosides-- that can make bluejays vomit violently. But the caterpillars evolved to use the toxin to the benefit of their survival and transformation into winged beings. When we widen our views, a toxin can be a powerful salve.
Sending you and your family much love and healing energy,

Love this post and photo. Hearing contradictory information and having to make a decision on how to move forward is so challenging. Thank you for reminding us that we can exercise choice and self-determination. We're sending you a lot of love during this next stage of treatment and looking forward to hearing your tips for Optune. Lots of love, Jeff and Peter
