Hi Michael, You inspire me every time! I am praying for you and your family to experience Jesus carrying you through this time. His strength and power are with you regardless of the outcome. However, I am confident that He is using you to reach others with His love, and I believe He's not done using you yet!! You are in His loving arms. Keep letting that wash over you like the river you love.
I've had quite a lot of pain in recent years. Most all the time I have some pain going on , and mostly I'm able to go about my day and find aliveness within the pain.
Sometimes it's just seems too much. Like you, I search for what is the opportunity here? How will this too bring aliveness and connection?
Years ago I had a dog named Sam. He got hit by a car and his hindquarters, back legs, were paralyzed.
I placed him on our couch and sang to him, petted him. Fed him when he could eat. Gave him water.
If I left the room, even for a few minutes he yelped his beagle yelp.
I got the message. I need you. I need you. Don't leave me.
That's what I figure the worst pain is telling me. There is no going it alone with that pain. It's time for hand holding, prayers, foot massage connection.
The companions help you to remember that the Comforter is always present.
Sam wanted it all. I want you to have it all.
I can come to you, Michael when you need someone to be with you.
