Dear Michael, I loved your description of joy -"the joy beyond understanding that has space for despair, fear, pain, birds, brain surgery, wrapped in an ecstasy of belonging that doesn't exclude anything. "

My seed this year from Spring Ceremony is to live in joy, to be joy. I am right there with you!!!!!!may it be so!
Love,
Betsy

I agree with Christine--this language is a gift and teaches us so much. And don't forget the language of signs--perhaps you can agree on signs you can use with your family and friends if words go away. Simple ones for hug or thirst or pain or love, so you can still give love and they know what you need.

Thank you for these words, Michael. And may this next phase bring ever more peace and love. The despair is real, and I for one am with you on this journey. I know you already know you are not alone, but the number of people with you is probably even greater than you realize.
