I love it Michael! You likely don't know that I'm on liver transplant list and have often times told my doctors, "but I'm not dead yet" with the appropriate British accent. I usually get a laugh or sideways glance and have been successful in living my life as fully as I can. I think of you and your family often and glad you're living as full a life as you can too.

I was never much drawn to Monty P.
But I guess gallows humor is better than no humor at all.

You are not dead yet! That’s a good way to look at this. You’re alive now. You are doing a wonderful job of being alive now. Keep it up!

I'm so grateful for the holy now and the richness of your life and relationships, the way that the love that is you, permeates you and surrounds you and your family abides deeper than language, surpassing all understanding and there is nothing needed to do to be held utterly in it. With you in my heart and prayers.

Sending love to you and Jenny as you learn about the new things have crossed over into the callosum. You are very brave, my friend, and continue to be an inspiration of how to be present to those you love and who love you.

It is in through the intersection of relationships that you will continue to be held and supported through this next phase of learning, living, and decision making. It was wonderful to spend time with you two days ago, crafting ideas and imaginging what we can create for an upcoming healing stories event. I never ceases to amaze me how through your experience - and ultimately sharing of it with all of us - you are imparting healing for so many. Your words are a gift, but also your presence is, too. Thinking thoughts of love and stregth and healing - in all the many forms in which it may come.

Michael what a gift to share a post that brings one from tears to laughter in a minute. So sad to hear about the left side lesion while being also impressed and strengthened by your ability to post the Monty Python video. What a great way to shift perspective.
