Hey Michael - I just wanted you to know that I think about you daily and am both inspired and humbled by your questions and insights. I know it's a muddled and tragic and beautiful world. Thanks for helping to remind me to keep breathing. Julia

I'm holding you, and your family, in the light Michael. I will especially be thinking about on April 4th. You never cease to amaze me by the depth of your spiritual awareness of everything around you. Both my mom and dad, in their final days, months, and years were in awe of everything in nature, and people in their lives. When we are faced with declining health, we tend to appreciate nature more and to see it more clearly than before. I've found that to be true too coming out on the other side of a mental breakdown, to appreciate and find joy in life so much more this year than I was capable of last year. May you still be able to ride your bike very soon and keep exploring your environment. Take care! My thoughts are with you.

Hi Michael, I think posting a comment on your Caring Bridge Site is perhaps the quickest way to send a "thinking of You" message to you and th Family. What wonderful weather again today! Sr. Mary Margaret and Sr. Virginia have both been outside t his week...I hope you are, too! Just make sure you have your security force with you --- it is still slipppery in those snowy hidden places in the woods and I think you are more wont to walk there than Mary Margaret or Mary Virginia ----and they have their walkers and a PCA or one of us. Love and enjoy this spring weather! Peace, love and joy!Suzanne

The warm-up = one risk factor literally melting away. I love the snow, but for the sake of vulnerable people, I'm happy to welcome Spring. Today!

So good to hear you are out and about. Walking with a bike helmet. Awesome.

Keep on assessing risks, Michael. It is teaching me something, though I am not sure what. I have never liked taking risks, yet there are things that I take "risk-doing" quite easily. Let's say while driving. I "chance it", a lot, when others would not pull out as a car is coming along, I do. I feel so confident in my driving and my timing-sometimes too much. Maybe it is because in other parts of my life, I have too little confidence. SK

I so appreciate your candor, Michael.

I see everyone's inner life as a landscape to be explored, and I sometimes have trouble respecting the "no trespassing" signs in other people's landscapes. In those words you describe my experience. I am a curious fellow, sometimes neglecting to note the tenderness of my fellow travelers. Your words offer me comfort in realizing I have company in being a curious fellow.

I’m giving thanks for your wonderful weirdness., Michael. As one of the sisters said to Meg in A Wrinkle in Time: “I give you the gift of your faults.”
