I’m sorry you are missing out on your son’s college visit. I have two kids in college and I struggle with teaching them what I feel they need to learn. Your son has learned far more from you than most parents have taught their college aged kids. Be sad that you are missing the experience, but know that you have given him gifts that he will cherish and pass on to his children.
