Yes. The healing I've been experiencing in my life is just a part of the immense healing that all of humanity and this planet is yearning for......it all starts in each of us deep down at our essence/soul that is connected with God/Source/Love/Everything and expands.....expands....expands further than ever imagined. There's so much love and gratitude everywhere sometimes I feel like I may burst.....and I do again and again...endlessly. Thank you Michael for being part of this healing, helping me, helping us all, and asking those difficult questions to ponder and gain perspective.....
What does healing look like for me if I have a few months to live?
What does healing look like if I have decades left to live?
What is your next stage of healing?
Michael has been cracked open by cancer, has learned from it, has indiscriminately shared his knowledge, has continued finding and sharing new layers of healing with it, has discovered new depths of love and gratitude, has found purpose in partnership with brain cancer to benefit us all, and has realized many blessings from it.
I am heartened by your attitude, Michael. I see you befriending the cancer, acknowledging it as part of you. What a leap in awareness. I join you in that scenario, as I am tempted to look at anything in my life as "other".
I have always appreciated your thoughts and insights, and your relationship to the river has intensified mine. Today we saw an owl, a mere 10 feet away, unruffled by our presence. So much awe and beauty there. The river gives and gives and is a true healer.
I no longer think of the Mississippi as just a large watershed dividing the country but I now see it as a source of healing and a friend of Michael's! Cancer has truly opened you up to the wonder of life and you have developed the capacity to luxuriate in its blessings. Your journey has also opened up many of your friends and we have created a loving community on this Caring Bridge website. Thanks for your continuing posts and spiritual revelations!
Thank you Michael. Your powerful insight that immersing ourselves in the wholeness of the natural world can be a key to healing is inspiring. I know this too from my own observations and experiences. Let me know if I/FMR can help in some way.
Hello, Michael. Your journey here on Caring Bridge has been a journey for me also. I embrace the healing power of our river and have made it my companion also...you have given so generously to us who read your posts and love you. Thank you for your insights and honesty and thoughtful questions. I will live more intimately related to my world today because of you. Holding you and your dear ones close in prayers of hope...
Breathing in with you.....Breathing out with you..... Reading your thoughts, Michael, hearing your words, your phrasing of questions, makes me realize how much depth you have brought to your living...how much you are like John O' Donohue, guiding us to see deeper into the river of our lives, the flow, the eddy spin of a leaf caught and held, and then released. And not to miss anything. You remind me, how puerile my thinking has become. Thank you for calling us to our better selves, our higher order of being just past the crawling caterpillar self with which we are so enamored. You are a gentle gift of a guide, helping us take any adversity better than we might have. Thank you...and see you soon!
