Much love to you and Jenny and Grace and Isaiah, and gratitude for your words and Wendell Berry's words. A good salve and warmth like a home fire this evening.
Dear Michael- I can only imagine the shakiness that quarter inch of worry/unknown brings to you, as I feel my own shakiness hearing this update. I so deeply love and cherish you and your beautiful brilliant family and am with you leaning into the fullness of life even in the uncertainty. Sending love and prayers for all of your guides and allies seen and unseen to offer their wise support so you can feel tangibly just how loved and accompanied you are.
I'm putting my money on, "... after that, 80% of those survive for years after that." In the meantime, we're counting on you to carry wood, chop water, honor beauty, and be a mirror for us all. Thank you for inviting us into this journey.
dear Michael, I love you. thanks for posting your honest feelings and the Wendell berry quote which I agree with whole heartedly. blessings, dear one and family. suzanne
Michael, I so appreciate your W. Berry response to your doctor's "small smile" visit. Maybe I've shared this W.Berry poem with you . It's one that means a lot to me : "whatever happens, those who have learned to love one another have made their way to the lasting world and will not leave, whatever happens..." Joining you in friendship and prayer....
