Every time I leave for a longer bike ride 20+I ask for divine protection. Ice cream could certainly qualify as an answer to that.usually I just ask for awareness ,focus,and ability to make safe choices. Which you did. Wow! What a miracle your story is! You are definitely meant to continue on this earth at this time! Yes, it is always a risk just to be alive, and every time any of us drives a car, we are taking risks. One of my favorite surgeons used to say before he started surgery, "Dear Lord, please let us get by with this, just this one more time." So we all take risks of some sort, all the time, and I think you are meant to be riding your bicycle and going to the river!
