Hello Michael I am feeling light and at ease with life as I connect with you on your path and the simple joys of my loved ones and people I see during errands. Love Sean

Good morning, Michael. Thank you for sharing the textures, sights, feelings of your journey. I appreciate how the words form a connection of caring. And then there is this. Three days ago a very close family member of mine was also diagnosed with cancer and needs to undergo three months of treatments, prepping first and then radiation/chemo. Reading about your experience helps me prepare a bit for what's in store for our family. I don't suppose you thought you'd be helping us, but you are. So for the bottom of my heart, I say again, thank you.

Once again you put your thoughts together and open yourself to your mix of friends and family so well. You are certainly on an unexpected journey and since so have been willing to invite others to join you we all get to experience this journey from our vantage points. I love the hang glider illustration and will pray that you feel the divine winds and strength from your ultimate Source as doctors, nurses, friends, and family all reflect that wind through their care & love.

Michael and Jenny - You've been with me today, and as I pray for grace and waves of calm to wash over you, I find myself taking notice of the little things around me. The air swirling in a curly cue as it makes its way through my nostrils and down into my belly. The smell of the damp fall air. Thanks for your witness to all that life brings.

Hi, Michael! Thank you for sharing. Your creativity amasses me! Wow for Grace! When we took our first big motorcycle trip to Arkansas I was terrified of an accident. God gave me Psalm 121-"I look to the mountains from which come me help.........." I still love those verses. Our prayers for your journey and recovery.

I have spent the last 3 days with my adult children--a rare and blessed time, given that Andrew lives in Philadelphia so we don't see him often. Your musings reinforce the importance of family, friends, and the web of love we form, no matter where we live. Your reflections have been powerful reading, Michael. I don't always comment, but I always read them and they leave me thinking more and learning much as you share your journey.

I think detours are part of ALL life, it's just that we often spend a great deal of time and energy wrestling ourselves back on course based on what we think we (or the people around us) want or deserve or need. Thank you for sharing as you are and reminding me that moving into reflective alignment with the unexpected is another way to travel this journey. Blessings to you, Jenny, Isaiah and Grace and offering more light for the in-between spaces.
