Michael, I am so sorry to hear about your brain cancer and in awe of your tender, honest, practical responses. Sending you and your family and your support community healing energy and metta. I will renew this as I pass the river or the creek in the coming weeks as you undergo treatment.

Thanks, Michael, for sharing your state of heart/being so fully with us. The "aggressive" piece is scary; I hadn't heard that before. At the same time, all of us are always just one breath away from death, though we manage to ignore that most of the time. To me, our vulnerabilities only reinforce what you're saying -- live right now, and live with wonder and awe and joy and courage as much as we possibly can.

And it is objectively true that the treatments are getting better all the time, and that you're a healthy, relatively young person with lots to live FOR. I am hopeful, and very much in your corner!
