Michael, I will put together an audio clip for you, and post it soon. Having recovered from two head injuries, I will add that, while you may be physically restricted in movements, your brain will also need major restrictions as it heals. A busy audio tape, with lots to think about, may not be as helpful and restful as you might think. I found, in the first and more serious injury recovery period, that I had to learn to stop processing all thoughts--finding a way to sleep-awake, or just agree (with my inner voice) to sleep much.
Also, much later in the slow healing process, I learned that brains with lots of wiring take longer to heal, and the less down time given for rest, the longer that long healing period would have to be. I was so impatient with healing, needing to heal quickly and 'get back on track to avert many pending crisis', that I delayed the healing in my efforts to try to heal quickly...

Early in the healing process, I learned that brain healing is not a straight line trajectory, as an injured bone or torn flesh would be. There is progress/healing, then a plateau, then maybe more progress or maybe a regression, then a plateau, then another swing, each time the progress was stronger, the regression was weaker and the plateaus were pretty consistently about three to five days.

Each brain injury/healing is different, was the first thing I heard.

My prayers are with you, holding Light and peace for you and Jenny, and for your family.

my best,
Marybeth
