Jack was an important part of the Dawson family in Belt. My dad took Jack and Tim hunting. We visited in Kalispell and later when he was in Gt. Falls he helped my husband Mike and me deal with the loss of our newborn. He helped us start a support group for breaved parents. I will always remember his strength and compassion for parents going through that tough time. I remember you kids when you were little. Sending you love and prayers.

Thanks for posting the pictures! They are wonderful. It is great to see your dad as a young man .... and to see all of your family when the three of you were young kids.

I was a physician at the Great Falls Clinic when I first met Jack. We were more than coworkers we were friends. When I retired due to health issues Jack was very supportive. Contact was lost following his move to Washington he never left my memory. His was truly a life well lived. My thoughts to his family.

Jack was a one-in-a-million guy, always there and ready with his own brand of warmth and connection. He will be so missed. He sang in the Montana Chorale with my husband, Larry, and was a big part of the Northwestern tour we were on, full of life and wisdom, and fun! Not to mention his talent for singing. That was only one of the musical he so aptly participated in. I remember when I was in the hospital during a very uncertain time and I was not just a little comforted to have a visit from Jack right at the needed time.....that meant the world to me. He and Mary had our family over to their house for dinner one Sunday when we were first here as a young family; what a delightful time that was. He was always gracious and thoughtful like that. Jack lived his life with integrity and with love. He will live on in the hearts of many. I am grateful to have known him.

Prayers and sympathies to Jack's family. I sang with him in Great Falls many years ago and went to Rocky with Tim. I will remember Jack for his kindness and compassion, deep understanding of people and his unwavering faith in God. A beautiful soul is at peace now in heaven. Dr. Carolyn (Hepner) Burns, Shelby, MT
