Yes, he rang the bell which is the symbol for those who complete their radiation treatments (see Gallery). What a trooper dad has been spreading his positive energy around to all those who were also having cancer treatments. The radiation therapists always smiled to see dad and referred to him as a favorite patient.
Early this morning, Ward Nairn came to Phoenix to greet and help dad and mom load the airplane headed straight back “home” to Johnson. It’s been an amazing experience and opened our eyes to the cancer world. As we move forward, we will each have a special place in our hearts for all those suffering from this disease.
Thanks again for all your prayers, calls and support during this process. When you have a chance, please check out the Gallery and when you can, give Melvin a call! He wou”d love to hear from you.
Signing off, Melva Jo
