Obituary for Melvin Schmidtbauer
Melvin J. Schmidtbauer, 78 year old resident of Pierz, MN, passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2019 at the St. Cloud Hospital. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, January 3, 2020, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Pierz, MN, at 11:00 A.M., with Father Kenneth Popp officiating. Burial will take place at St. Joseph’s Parish Cemetery in Pierz, MN. A visitation will be on Thursday, January 2, 2020 at the Shelley Funeral Chapel in Pierz, MN, from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M., and from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. on Friday at the church. Military Rites will be conducted by the Pierz American Legion Post #341.
