[Praise] "God... our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging." Psalm 46:1-3 I will pray specifically for a smooth transition, competent and caring help at the new facility, and for continued healing. "Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way." 2 Thessalonians 3:16

Cathy, this morning in church, Melinda came to my mind and I just had to pray right then for her. These days can be so difficult but I’m so glad a good alternative care facility was found. She will be in good care. I will continue to pray for her recovery and stability to be able to continue with therapy. I’m praying for you, too. God is the great Physician.

That is where my mom was post ICU/hospital! Please contact me if you want more info. They were really great but you do need to stay on top of them for various things. There were certain nurses better than others. Regarding therapies, when we told the therapists that my mom’s insurance wanted to cut her off, they really pushed her in her sessions to show progress so insurance would continue to pay for therapy sessions. They are a slight step up from nursing but given your past experience at her previous facility it will be a big step up. Praising God with you!
