Melanie has reached the end of her journey.  She passed peacefully at 5pm on July 19th.  She was with her husband Tony, with her children Catherine and Matthew nearby.  Melanie journeyed for 19 months since her cancer diagnosis, and did so with courage, wisdom and a heart full of love.  She has always said it is a journey of grace and blessing, and surely the Lord dispensed His grace upon all of us throughout this time.  

So many of you have done so much for Melanie and all of us throughout this journey.  I thank you from the bottom of my heart.  

Melanie is a joyful disciple of Jesus, and an inspiration for all of us, in her unwavering belief in God's goodness and in her gratitude for all the Lord has bestowed upon her.  Lord Jesus, please open your loving arms to your faithful servant!

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her.  May the souls of all the faithful departed, through. the mercy of God, rest in peace.
