Debbie. I am so sorry it took me so long to get this. I knew Meghan through the C Word <3 I just wanted to say how much she loved her family. I haven't had the pleasure of knowing her for very long - I got into our facebook group a year and half ago at Stage 4. It was so nice to be able to relate to someone around the same age.. battling and fighting too. She has been incredibly missed and I can't wait to meet her in person up there! <3 All my love, Lilly

Debbie, I saw Kim McMahan Frankel tonight at a meeting, and she told me about your daughter. I cannot even begin to imagine what the last two years have been like for Meghan and for all who loved her. Please know that you are all in my prayers. Death brings sadness to the folks who loved so deeply but comfort and peace to the deceased as he/she rejoices in Heaven.

What a beautiful tribute to such a special young lady. So heartbreaking, but peace comes knowing she is no longer suffering.

Such a Spiritually positive post, Debbie. And your Dr. Suess quote is such a "Meghan quote." Love it. Jesus holds Meghan now eternally and He holds you, Lamar and your family with a grace-filled hug of love and comfort. God loves you, my friend and Liz and I love you too.

A prayer for your peace and the soul of your sweet Meghan has been offered up from Indiana. Her positive spirit and bravery in the fight were an example that touched many hearts including mine. My sincere condolences to you and your family.

I remember the day she came to my classroom door, just shortly after my own breast cancer diagnosis to tell me about hers. We stood in the hallway and hugged and cried. We were in different battles but we kept in touch through it all. Meghan, we will miss you. Your enthusiasm, your spirit, your laugh. May you finally Rest In Peace after the long battle, warrior sister. God bless.
