Journal entry by Megan McClintock —
I am helping to support a local young man and friend of ours, Kimball Boyle (seen here on the far left), who has partnered with The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) Students of the Year program. He is working hard to raise money for LLS.
As you know, I was diagnosed with leukemia in 2019. Three years ago the drug that I needed as targeted therapy for my specific type of leukemia did not even exist. My survival was likely directly related to the funding LLS receives to make their highly specialized research possible. I would consider it a great honor if you would donate to LLS during Kimball’s fundraising campaign.
Click here to donate on my personal fundraising page and for more information including a short video of my story. The campaign only runs from January 7th to February 27th.
To encourage our friends and loved ones to participate, we have established a matching grant for non-corporate donations made through our page. All donations are tax deductible.
Please forward/share with others whom you feel would be interested.
