Michelle, I am still praying for your family. I update my Sunday School class on her progress from your updates. Your family is an example of rising above the card dealt to them. God bless all of you.

Dear Michelle, I think you're pretty cool too!! (smile) What an amazing mom and wife you are!! And, how encouraging to have such a supportive husband as Mike to anchor the family!! Mckenna seems to have your same determination and persistence, which will no doubt serve her well in the days to come as she regains her independence. Congratulations to Madison on her college graduation!! Kudos to Lucy, Sammi, and Regan for being very compassionate and caring friends!! May life continue to get easier for you and family and the bad days be few. Most importantly, may our Lord Jesus renew you all daily and give you strength in Him. Love and hugs, my friend.

McKenna is truly amazing after everything that has happened to her almost 3 years ago. She doesn't let it get her down. She continues to overcome any obstacle that comes her way. I pray for her every day. I have never met her but I have seen her at memorial stadium when they did a fundraiser for her. Keep up the great work McKenna.

Thank you for the update. I think about Mckenna occasionally. You might remember but my son has a very similar injury (he's a c5 and would kill for triceps!). As of Feb1 it will be 6 years since he was injured. He lives with a friend, receives daily care and get's along pretty well. Spasms, UTIs and the regular host of quad issues but he has really transitioned to handling his own affairs and we rarely do anything for him anymore. Mckenna has the right 'can do' attitude that is necessary. She will do great!
