You are right to call it "another life." I"m one of those who believes she already has her resurrection body and is not only at peace but is having a glorious time. Our prayers are for all the family as you grieve a rather remarkable lady.

Hugs to each of you! Our hearts grieve with you, but we know Maxine is rejoicing with Jesus and all those who have gone before her. She lived her life well for Jesus and is enjoying the wonder of what she hoped and prayed for!! I am glad that even when we walk through the valley that we have the promises of our Lord Jesus - to give us strength and hope. I know Thanksgiving will be different for you from now on, but let it be a reminder of the wonderful promises of our Lord and the day Ralph and Erik and family that your wife and mom celebrated her home going, walking through the gates of heaven with Jesus, hand in hand!! I understand that just a little, because on my birthday some 34 years ago my dad walked with Jesus through those gates too, so now every year on my birthday - I also celebrate Dads home going!! We are lifting your family to the Lord for strength and comfort in these days and hours, may His grace indeed be sufficient.
