Ok so the updates are not fast and furious but slow and steady just like our fearless Mimi. Be just had her 3rd transfusion of chemotherapy which is the 1/2 way point. The process has been uncomfortable, but she is really amazing and we have been blessed with no major or minor illnesses along the way - just tired and achey. We did get some really encouraging news with her last blood draw - the cancer markers in her blood are down which seems to be a good indicator that the chemo is working. Next week, there will be a CT SCAN and a follow up with surgeon to determine next steps. Mimi feels buoyed by all that you have done with cards, calls, texts, and gifts. She is truly feeling the love. Let’s pray that she continues to tolerate the treatment and we get to plan more adventures with our treasured Mimi.
