I continue to be so impressed with and proud of you! So thankful you are being authentic, staying strong, counting on God, and you have the kids in counseling. I hope you have found a great one yourself! If not, I know of a great one who specializes in trauma. You continue to be on my heart and in my prayers!
You and the children continue to be in our prayers, Becky. So glad Dick and Marsha could be there with you for a another visit recently. Your words of faith are always such an inspiration, even though we know how heavy the burden of grief can be. You are an amazing woman - a strong and authentic example of how to trust God for each day, and yet allow yourself to feel and show your children that it’s okay to grieve. I look forward to meeting you someday; from your journal posts, I feel as if I already know you!

Becky, I love you. You inspire me in many ways. Thank you for sharing yourself and your wonderful family. Thank you for showing your belief in God and family. You have already done so much in this life through your kindness and truth despite tragedy that if you suddenly began to totally suck tomorrow, you could get away with it! Of course, we know this won’t happen because God has you. Thank you again for your presence. Hope I made you laugh (b/c Lord knows laughter is like music for our soul). Thank you so much for the update. We are praying for you and your family. Matt was a family friend from St. Patrick’s Church. I babysat for him and his brothers, and our mothers are good friends. He knew my younger two brothers pretty well too. We are Less than two hours away in Greenville, South Carolina , and have friends and relatives in Charlotte.
